Possible grants that your department could apply for

We have compiled a list of grants that other departments in PA have applied and/or successfully received funding. Please consider collaborating with your department when applying for grants to avoid funding conflicts.

We are continually adding grants below - if you see any that we missed, please reach out and let us know!

PAFPA

$1,000.00 Equipment Grant Application

This grant is intended for the sole purpose of providing necessary equipment for the exclusive use of Fire Police in the performance of their duties. This grant will be available to only Member Counties to purchase qualifying equipment for their Fire Police Officers to use.

There are three $1,000.00 grants available per year. Grant Applications open November 1st. and closes March 1st. Grant announcements will be made at the May meeting. If the County Association is not in attendance at the May meeting, they will be notified.

The County Association will be responsible for filing the application by email making sure it is dated by the March 1st deadline. After the Grant Application is approved, The County Association will be required to provide all receipts providing proof of all purchases of said equipment. Once the receipts are reviewed and they adhere to allowed purchases stated in the Grant, the County Association will receive their check. Receipts for the approved purchases must be turned in by email within 90 days of notice of Grant acceptance notification.
