Fire Police Person of the Year Award

Pennsylvania State Fire Police Patch

The PA Fire Police Association presents the Person of the Year Award to recognize the extraordinary dedication and service of one individual within the Pennsylvania Fire Police community. This award is the association's highest honor, acknowledging a member who has gone above and beyond to exemplify the spirit of community service, leadership, and commitment to improving the capabilities of Fire Police across the Commonwealth.

Why We Honor Our Members

The purpose of the award is to celebrate an individual member who has made an outstanding, lifetime-worthy contribution to our organization, fire police in their county, and the greater fire service at large. By publicly honoring these exceptional individuals, the association aims to:

  • Recognize Excellence: Provide formal, once-in-a-lifetime recognition for a recipient's significant achievements and commitment.
  • Inspire Service: Showcase the positive impact one dedicated member can have, encouraging others to pursue leadership and training roles.
  • Improve Capabilities: Highlight efforts that directly lead to improved training, coordination, and incident management skills across the region.

The recipient is typically honored at a PA Fire Police Association meeting and local county banquets.
