In Memoriam: Christopher Wersinger

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Wersinger, a dedicated member of the West Hazleton Fire Company, where he proudly served as Fire Police Lieutenant.
Chris devoted his time and service to his community and helping others. His commitment to the fire company and his fellow firefighters was a testament to the kind of person he was—selfless, dependable, and always willing to stand up for those around him.
Chris also faced one of life’s greatest challenges with incredible courage as he battled cancer. Through his fight, he showed the same strength and determination that defined him throughout his life.
His service, friendship, and dedication will not be forgotten. The West Hazleton Fire Company and the community he served mourn the loss of a brother, a friend, and a true public servant.
Rest easy, Lieutenant. Your watch is over.
Thank you for your service, your courage, and your friendship.
Gone, but never forgotten.
